Berrow Foundation Lord Florey Scholarships
These Scholarships are open to candidates of Swiss or Liechtenstein nationality, domiciled in either Switzerland or Liechtenstein, who are graduates from any Swiss university, including the ETHZ and the EPFL. They are intended for candidates accepted to read for a graduate degree in medical, chemical or biochemical sciences at Oxford University as members of Lincoln College. Candidates must not be more than five years beyond graduation from their first degree at one of these institutions, except for candidates in medicine, for whom the five-year limit dates from obtaining the Federal Diploma in medicine. The successful candidates will also have access to a generous research fund to assist them to attend conferences at which they wish to present papers or posters. Prospective candidates should note that research which involves the use of human embryos or their creation, including by cloning, or the use of human embryonic stem cells will NOT be funded by the Berrow Foundation. A short biography of Lord Florey is available here. |
